A Student-driven Event

The IST Future Forum is a student-driven event that brings together all the players who make up the IST family - large and small companies, IST faculty, staff and students - to explore future trends and emerging issues in the field of IT. The intent is to involve the IST Advisory Board, faculty, recent alumni and industry partners in discussions that will benefit the students both in their education and in their decisions about career opportunities.

Specifically, the 2008 IST Future Forum will:

Be held just prior to Penn State's Blue/White weekend with key activities between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. April 18.

Over 500 guests attended the event last year, and we expect that number to grow for 2008.

Include a combination of mock interviews, networking, cutting-edge technology demonstrations, information presentations, and panel discussions.

Features a keynote presentation by Larry Kittelberger, Honeywell International's senior vice president of technology and operations.
